My wife and sons bought me this for Christmas, 2005 or 2006, ish.
I'd decided to pursue my dream of training and hunting Labrador Retrievers. Even had me a great name picked out. Rock Solid Retrievers.
Anyways, the first winter after we bought our first puppy they got this for me.
I never did hang it when we lived in Michigan. We moved to Texas summer of '06. I still didn't put it up. Didn't want to damage it. So they put it in this frame.
A Few years ago I took it out and set in on the back of a dresser.
Today I broke the tape measure out and hung it.
Door on the right is 3/4" taller than the other. I didn't do the doors!
The left side of frame is 1/8" closer to the ceiling trim than right side. It is sloppy work I know.
We've got family coming in this evening and with my wife's recent trip to the ER I decided it's tolerable. I'm back to helping her get her house ready.
