Barely Legal Pics

Ok...I want to see some deer that barely hit the 13" mark. Please share pics and width.

I took my 12 year old cousin hunting this evening. He has never killed a deer and would love to have a buck. He had to watch an 8pt buck at 40 yards eat corn. This buck may have hit 13" but if so right at it. I would not let him shoot because I do not want to start him off breaking the law. I am very management oriented when it comes to our deer herds but this buck is on a ranch that with out a high fence and a major feed program will never have "trophy" bucks. In my opinion this would be a trophy to him so letting one go won't hurt.

I can call a 20" spread easier than 13 so lets see some examples.

13 1/8" spread. Scores 142 7/8. Watched him for 3 years. I think he was actually wider at 3 1/2 and 4 1/2.

Wife's first deer this fall ended up being closer than I would have imagined at 13 2/8. We have his running buddy on multiple cam pictures who will no doubt go PY and he has less a spread than Kendra's buck.

I shot this deer last year (not me in pic) I though he was right at 13". He was a young deer that should've gone another year but I was happy with harvest. I never measured him, I thought it would barely legal. Just measured him and got him at 14 2/8th wide.

He is obviously an old buck and you can throw the ear thing out the window based on that pic.
