I had nearly an inch just Southeast of Water Valley. I think it may of been a bit more up y'alls way.

Good to hear!! Lord knows we need it. This is the worst spring I’ve seen in the past three years so far. Hoping it turns around soon.

Yep it was terrible dry. It will look great in a week or two I bet. Looks like another round of rain this evening is possible.

It’s one of my favorite things about Covert cameras. I no longer have to wait for the LO to mosey on down to the ranch to check the gauges.

No sir, this past weekend we were out and saw a few groups of long beards and none of them were fanned out or cutting up yet. Last year was about two weeks too early. This year, it’s been so dry, but I think this rain will have them going just right for the opener.

Interesting what a difference an hour of travel time makes...last year, our gobblers were on fire opening weekend and four were killed with three hunters. I stopped hunting after killing mine knowing I had some folks coming in the next weekend. We were much slower the following weekend.....We were thinking it started early.

Not much action at our place on turkey last weekend. This weather may get it going.
