    ID This Part

    Dad found it along a fence line and is curious as to what it is. Seems to have been bolted to a telephone or electrical pole. It's got some "old lead wire." Any ideas guys/gals?

            That is to hold overhead cables from power pole to house or other poles. This one was used to hold either telephone cable or tv cable ( that's that lead wire).

                    Looks like a first edition of the coon traps that are used on here regularly.

                        It's a "Knotta". Knotta lot you can do with it except tension a knot with it.
