Went for a sit with son and granddaughter this morning. There was activity at the feeder even before shooting light. When we could actually see enough to shoot, there were 6 bucks milling around the feeder. We chose this one for her first and she had to wait him out for more than 30 minutes before he gave her a shot opportunity that she was comfortable with. One shot with her great granddads .243 and the buck dropped where he stood. I’m very proud of her patience because she could have settled for other, easier bucks, but she waited and got it done.
