How many illegal (AR) bucks get shot every year?

We had that discussion at the lease this weekend. I bet there are plenty that get shot and left in the woods. I'm not saying it could never happen but what I am hunting for is one that you don't have to question it when he comes out.
As far as mistaking a spike for a doe there is just really no excuse for that.

I'm sure there are a few less than 13" that are not reported.
Since we are making rule change suggestions, change it back to spike only or 13". No reason for some counties to allow 2 bucks to be killed. Also, the deer with 5 on one side but slick on the other is not a cull but most likely due to injury, so change it to spike only. Tell you what, just take spike of the kill list also.Last edited by JeffK; 11-19-2018, 12:53 PM.

I make all three....would rather have the extra bulk for bacon burger and sausage.....the bigger larger backstraps work just fine for cutlets and more of them too. Plus there are doe for that as well.
