I don't know about your area Bill but the bucks in my area down the road from you were rutting hard this past Saturday. Two of the wallhangers on my trail cam gave me the slip...one Saturday morning and the other one on Saturday afternoon. I had my safety off on the one Saturday afternoon and the crosshairs on him while he was trotting along a hot doe trail. All I needed was for him to stop for a split second and I would of drilled him but he kept on moving and disappeared into some thick stuff. I"ve been trying to sneak back down there for a morning hunt this week but I'm fighting a serious head cold right now. Good luck on that wide rascal!!
