I am proud to say I now have my first official bow kill. Jyoung and I went out to Chambers ranch this weekend and had an awesome time. I was losing hope as Sunday morning came around and still no blood on my arrow. Past couple of years have been full of missed opportunites and bad luck and I thought this weekend would end the same way. Our guide took me out to my stand and less than 2 min later her come some goats. I had not even had time to take off my pack and nock an arrow. This guy came into view and I let em have it. Fifteen to twenty yard shot to the heart. He went about 10 yards then fell and was dead instantly. I could not believe it. Perfect shot.
