My second post I called the raccoon an "it" so that I would assume anything.

I saw a mom carrying her young yesterday, first for me. Looked healthy, would have shot if not for the baby with her.

I figured it out. I caught HER. I asked her to see her belly and I saw she is feeding young ones. I let her go. Hopefully I scared her into not coming back.
