    No brakes 2001 f150

The brakes on our ranch truck went out. You get a tiny bit of resistance when you first start pressing the peddle but then it will go all the way to the floor. Any ideas on what it might be? I checked the brake fluid and it seemed fine. Thanks in advance for any help. Also I'm between Lockhart and luling on highway 183 if anyone knows of a mobile mechanic in the area.

If the fluid level is fine then it is more than likely the master cylinder.

Did the power steering fail too?

Check the backside of your tires for fluid running down it.
Bad brake piston or caliper can leak fluid. It'll run down the backside of your tire.

Start checking your brake lines. My 99 F150 lost the seal on the master cylinder then the lines started to rot
