    What are yalls guesses on these guys? Chasing them semi-live this weekend.

      32" - very nice!

        2nd buck is 35-36". 1st one is about 32", but would score good with long brows and caudles. 3rd one is nice, but looks a little young.

          31” 34” 30” all great axis! 1st one looks like it’s got another 1” are so of growing to do

              Pics of pics always make them look much bigger then they really are. First two are nice but I bet smaller in person then they appear.

                  If you take them down while in velvet, do you preserve that somehow? Or dry it out? Always wondered. The 2 axis i got were already out of velvet but i always wondered what guys do with velvet antlers

                    Taxidermist can preserve the velvet.

                      Freeze dry them if they are still soft on the tips or if there is still blood under the skin..

                      If they are "tipping out" and the velvet skin is dry and sucked down tight to the antler then I just treat the outside so moths wont eat the velvet and dry skin.. Do this either way actually.
