My 2 most prized trophies:

159 5/8" Whitetail taken in Del Rio near the movie set of Lonesome Dove. Recurve by Sweptwing Bow Co. (Rick Erdmann) all captured on video.

About 10 seconds before he got shot:

7 foot, 7" Alligator Gar. One arrow shot from a Ben Pearson vintage recurve off a bridge over a private OxBow off the Trinity River. 4 1/2 hour fight with the final landing coming in my Mad River canoe and MAJOR assistance draggin' 'er out on the bank and loading in my trailer from Chew's oldest son, Big Jake!!
