Well I'm sure someone has done something the same or similar, but I got a bunch of 3/8 steel tubing, a few T unions, and a few straight unions. Bent it and fitted it into a take down frame that fits into the stake pockets. Throw a tarp over it with bungees, and good to go!
We're going camping this weekend, and I decided this would fit myself, my wife, and the dog more comfortably than my one person tent
Going to just slide in a full size sheet of plywood for the floor, and put in an air mattress. Cheap, quick, dirty, light, sturdy (held up to today's winds)...Just my style. I need to get a slightly bigger tarp tonight.
