Chevy truck heater issue

I've got 2004 chevy, it blows hot and cold and you can adjust the Temp most of the time. After starting it up and running it for about 5 min the temp control switches to hot-hot no mater the temp its set on, turn the motor off and re-start it goes back to operating normal until the next time its turned off for a while ?????.

Has anyone found a fix to these issues?

Im about to go change out the blend door actuator in a few minutes. Will let u know if that was it

Mine was the blend door actuator. Just got in from changing it.
