One day I'll get my shop! It's tough being a shade tree mechanic!

No, no plans for heating or cooling, other than drinking a cold beer in it to cool down!

Ol Rip is something else. I still talk to him every once in a while and all is well with him!

Man I saw you at the TTHS Sunday. I was trying to get over to you but my son was looking at something and then I lost you.

Finally about to wrap up this phase of my little project.
I brought in the dirt to build the pad for my shop in April 2017.
The slab was poured in June 2017.
I started building my trusses in July 2017.
Finished with the trusses in March 2018.
Trusses and purlings put up in March 2018.
Roof was put on in May 2018.
And finally, I'm getting it finished in August 2019.
I've got all the wall panels up and roll up doors done and I'm going to pick up the rest of the trim tomorrow and should be finished with trim this week. Once trim is finished, I'll finish building the sliding doors and hopefully get them hung up before hunting season rolls around.
I've got light's up but I'm just running them off of an extension cord until I get power brought in to the shop, which should happen soon.

It's been a long 2+years with lots of hard work but now that it's getting close to being finished, I can honestly say that it's all been worth it!

Man I forgot about this thread, awesome build!! The only thing I wish I did on my shop was about twice as many 220v plugs, three will cover the whole 60x40 how they are placed but I could use more. Also wish I put a plug for the camper on the outside, you’re gonna love that covered hangout area.

I hadn't thought about outside plugs yet but will be adding a few of them now. I'm not sure how many 220's I'll put yet because other than my welding machine and plasma cutter, I don't have much else that runs on 220.

The outside covered area is one of my favorite spots. Once the sliding doors are done, I think it's going to look really nice!
