Yes practice but no, not shooting your bow. I mean getting to your spots or in your spots and seeing if you can set up or stalk deer to within your optimal shooting range... I am going to try to start shooting deer soon; with a camera

Any public land hunters on the green screen on Thursday?

I don't necessarily practice getting into my spots on public land or stalking deer. If I know I'm hunting public a lot, I will practice setting up and climbing trees with my climber. I like to be a quiet and possible doing this. Not always easy, especially early in the season if you haven't done it in 8 months.

Yes and yes. Used to rake a path from truck to stand to get rid of the dead leaves/sticks/random limbs in the way too. Pretty much have a path in memorized, and don't need a light opening day.
