Bow wrist straps..Who does and does not uses them?

Wonder who all uses bow wrist straps these days. I stopped several years ago when the bows started not jumping out of your hand. I believe it was the LX when I stopped using them.
The parallel limbs stopped that for all you young pups.
I have found it much easier to grab my bow off the hanger without the strap, especially with a glove on.

I still use a strap. I was always told that a strap is used to keep from griping the bow and torquing the shot (letting the bow fall upon arrow release). Anyways I have a habit of not griping the handle, so if I didn't use a strap, I would drop my bow.
