    smoked axis hams?

    ANyone have any suggestions for doing a smoked axis ham?

    Well, I didn't get much response on this one, so I had to improvise. I used someone's brine recipe off of here (sorry, can't remember who posted) and let it soak for almost a day. Put a bunch of pork dry rub on it, and smoked the ham at 225 to 250 for about 7 hours. When it got to be about hour 5, i wrapped it in foil, added a stick of butter, and let it cook the other two hours. It turned out GREAT!!!!!!
