Nothing beats my wife who happens to be tied with my mother.
But commercially I I have found many dives that work out nicely

I have been all over the world and the best is the Yardarm in Corpus Christi. Food and service is second to none.

Chinto's in Del Rio....I grew up having tacos from there, took GFs there, then my wife, getting tacos to go before going hunting/fishing, etc. Not the best taco I've ever had, but great food.

I have a world of options of food here and anybody who is anybody has a restaurant here...but nothing beats nostalgia and home cook meals. I've eaten foods from the best chefs in the world...but I always compare them to my youth

I still can't find BBQ here that trumps Texas though

My Family Kitchen, Rockport Texas. Breakfast or Lunch, it’s a sleeper. So I guess I probably shouldnt have brought it up here. Lol. 2-2-1 for breakfast with coffee, now I’ll wait 2 hours for a table. Whatever. Good people and great food.

If money was not an issue, I’d dine at BIN 303 in Rockwall every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
                    Otherwise............way too many to list.

The Grist Mill in Greune. Best onion rings in the world about the size of an ATV tire.
