Best I saw tonight was a 5x4 young bull. Nobody killed today but 5 more days of hunting! Cool and rain off and on all evening.

Somebody missed a good one at 40 yards today. Wasn’t able to engage it and guide thought it was 50. My dad had a 290” 5x5 call in from 1/2 mile to 50 yards. Not what he was after. I was sitting for a bear and only saw 1 coyote. Weather sucked all night but it has cleared now and hopefully will dry out and the bulls will start talking again. They were almost silent all night. I never heard a bull bugle this morning.
