DANG! Shoulda got the flu shot!

Feel for you...came down with the flu or food poisoning Sunday week ago. Vomiting, diahrea, fever, the works. Cost me wrist surgery to fix a torn ligament I’ve been fighting for a year. Now I get to pay 3x after the first of the year.

I get it every year now. After my annual mule deer hunt in west Texas in 2009 I came down with an upper respiratory infection. It never went away and finally, the day after Christmas, I went to the ER. After some tests they said I had a mild case of pneumonia. I'd hate to see what a bad case was like cuz I thought I was gonna die.

So, every year since then I've gotten the flu shot and the pneumonia shot.

The last 2 times I got the flu were the 2 years I got a flu shot.... no shot for me since.
