    Peach and orange wood smoked chicken

    I smoked a chicken today. I used half peach wood and half orange wood. It turned out amazing. I've used orange wood before, but it's a very powerful smoke—like mesquite is. I've found peach wood to be a little subtle—like apple wood. So I mixed them. It was a very nice balance. I recommend trying this combination for chicken. It would probably be good for pork.

    Thanks for the info, sounds good. I smoked several chicken breast using oak bark in foil on a gas grill. Worked pretty good for something fast.

        I know. I know. I don't even have the empty bags of wood chips to photograph because I used the last of both kinds of wood that I had. Which is where I got the idea.
