That's just unreal to me. Would love to visit with the shooter about what all is involved to shoot that group at 1k!

          ask and ye shall receive

these rifles typically weigh around 17 lbs.
you need to know how to read wind flags and mirage
you shoot 5 shots for record at the bullseye within a predetermined time limit
you can shoot unlimited rounds into the sighter target

Mr. Wagner shot that group in 2013, in 2017 someone stole his rifle
I'm not sure if it has ever been found

Truly amazing what they're doing with these little 6mm pills. All those years of thinking you needed a big magnum and then a big 6.5 to eventually come down to a 6.

Heck, i can do that all day long with my 6.5 cm ruger american

Or the classic, i could do that if I had that gun

That is some unreal shooting at 600 and 1000 yards. I am not sure which is more impressive.

My brother and dad shoot the 600-1000 yd benchrest, the guns are pretty dang cool and expensive.

I can't shoot like that at a 100yds! Fun trying though.

Tuning some ammo in the morning mist.

Cold bore freshly cleaned rifle and a first round hit on the 4 inch gong at 300 with my hunting load. I can't shoot in the .1's at that range but I do love this rifle.Click image for larger version

If you are just punching holes in paper, the 6’s are good for 1000yd. My 243 makes me look like I know what I’m doing at 1000yds.

It takes one heck of a shooter to do that, but I can guarantee you he’s better at loading than shooting!
