    Plastics over live bait today

And no matter how close they got! [emoji16] junior and I went after some high fence bass today at fayette, just the two of us. And We flat wore em out!!

Even after sleeping in and not getting on the lake till after 8. It litteraly took us 4 minutes to catch the first one and it was on after that. Stopped around 2 with over 30+ fish to about 4lbs. 20 or so of those came from the same spot on same colors.

Minnow chunkers got close enough trying to move in and that didn't even work. My sides are cramping from all the laughing we did.

    Great day on the water

Truth. Especially since the fish don't seem to school in July like they used to. Saw surface temps of 86 today

Nice haul! Love Fayette but I struggle on that lake when the surface temps get mid 80's and up. Are the reeds starting to come back and did you find any grass?

Didn't even look for grass to be honest. Been catching fish in the same places on same worm since the 90s. We Did see grass and reeds around the ramp. And there was some grass near the intake

Nice. I've bass fished once in my life and it was at Fayette. We flat wore them out on Rat-L-Traps.
