Default Active shooter in Dallas

Just read there's an active shooter in Dallas, y'all stay safe.

DALLAS (RNN) - Dozens of Dallas police officers have responded to reports of a shooter at an office building tower.

Multiple news outlets have reported that at least two people have been shot by an assailant, but there is no official confirmation. Dallas Fire and Rescue confirmed two ambulances responded to reports of people shot at the building, according to DFW.CBSlocal.com. WFAA reported that a man entered the building, shot a person then shot himself. There have been no official verification or reports of their condition. SWAT has reported to the site.

It's this generation of there are no losers in sports or academics, everybody gets a trophy or ribbon.
Then when they hit the real world and are told no, this happens.

If the original report was of an active shooter that shot one man and then himself, it really isn't an active shooter.

Or could be someone fed up with getting screwed at every turn. But nah, everything is fair and good so that couldn't be it.

Don't think this is a generational thing. This sort of thing has been happening since the beginning of employment.

Where does it say his age? Has nothing to do with participation trophies and everything to do with this person being a coward.

Sad thing is they didn't chose to be given those trophies so the real people to blame is the ones raising these participation trophy babies.

We are getting closer and closer to a "Purge" situation. Seems that having an issue with anyone in today's world is met with a shooting.

What happened to a good old fight without having to kill them? Or the loser having to file a law suit for getting his/her butt whopped?

Agree...
seen in the news earlier a 17 year old twin was shot by another teen. It was supposed to be a fist fight but one pulled a gun. Smh

BURLESON, Texas (AP) Authorities say a 17-year-old was fatally shot and his twin brother was wounded after they went to a North Texas school parking lot to have a fight with someone.

18-year-old Tristan Torres awaits arraignment in connection with the fatal shooting, according to the Burleson Police Department.

The Tarrant County medical examiner's office says Cameron Lewis was pronounced dead Sunday morning after being taken to a hospital. He'd been shot in the head. Police say his twin was shot in the foot and his injury wasn't life-threatening.

Police say the gunman stopped on a street near the parking lot late Saturday night and fired several shots. Cameron Lewis was in a vehicle when he was shot. His brother was standing outside.

That happened in the back parking lot at Mound Elementary. My wife works at that school. Sad situation. From what my wife has been telling me, the kids all involved in it were decent kids too.

Since Violent crime is on a decline (outside of gang violence in certain areas), I would say we are not getting closer to a "Purge" situation. If anything, it would have happened decades ago. Then again, it's a ridiculous premise in the first place.

That is terrible. I can't imagine being that upset with anyone, much less a sibling.

Edit: Never mind. Misread it and thought the twins shot each other.

Figured someone would chime in like this. Of course it doesn't make it legit, nothing would. But sometimes you need to ask why people snap and no one ever wants to look at guys getting screwed during a divorce and X gets the kids and all the money. Or when they get denied jobs because of AA. Or the IRS takes everything...or on and on. Run a business and see how hard it is to not get sued. Get a business audit by the IRS etc.

Yes, life is hard and unfair. When we do nothing to expose our kids to failure as children they are less equipped to deal with it as adults. I think someone was making that point above.
