      It's the way they all should be. You shouldn't add material to hide but remove material to be able to shoot.

        This! I look for the thickest crap to shove the tripod into. Then cut shooting lanes. If I have to, I’ll put the tripod behind a tree (so I have something to draw behind), then cover my backside with something to break silhouette.

          I use hand clippers to prune a little at a time. Doesn’t take much.
          I like cover in front and behind me.
          My two best setups were/are:
          6 foot tripod in a giant oak with low hanging branches.
          14 foot tripod in a clump of 14-16 foot tall cedars.


          You can use rope to pull branches out of the way or pull in for more Cover.

            I shove my tri pod into the thick stuff and use the extendable pruner poles to trim out shooting holes.
