Looks like a school shooting in Italy, TX this morning. Anyone have any info?

This is down the road from us. I contacted my buddy who graduated from there and works in Italy, he said one student shot and one injured. We then heard the young lady had passed but that's not confirmed.

News is reporting right now. Male student shot female student. Female in the hospital and male in custody. Shooting took place inside a class room. School is still in lockdown. Sounds like boyfriend girlfriend thing or something.

I'm hearing the girl had broken up with the boy. Sad deal for sure. Even worse is that this boy has a history of committing violent acts and has not been held accountable for most of them. Waiting for the story to develop.

never thought this would ever happen where I grew up. Multiple people have said this kid has had a troubled past- stabbed someone, threw scissor at a teacher, and made a hit list in 8th grade and it was all dismissed
