Surprised to hear mortgage???? DFW is one of the top new homes cities in the country. Any idea on why, is it related to interest rates ticking up?

Direct correlation with rates and production. Meat on the table but not enough for everyone to eat. I will not disclose the company, sorry. Primarily refinance, purchase market is still strong, although they are predicting a decrease in sales from last year by 3% in the southern portion of the US. I believe that is mostly due to the availability of housing though and not interest rates.
