    2018 Lease Price Thread

I've seen a few threads like this from years past, so I thought I'd start one to get updated pricing. It's timely for me as I'm coming up on lease renewal and will be negotiating soon.

Please provide $/acre for your lease and indicate county or area, any amenities included (electric, water, cabin, etc.), available game, access (year round, deer season only, etc.), and any landowner restrictions of significance. I'd also be interested in what farming/ranching activities are active on the lease.

    I'll go first:
    - $10.50/acre
    - McCulloch County (Brady)
    - Protein feeders/pens (we pay extra for protein but landowner maintains)
    - Electricity (we pay for)
    - Whitetail, turkey, hogs (no exotics)
    - Access limited to Sep through end of deer season and all of turkey season
    - Cattle ranching (but just this week started running neighbor's goats on trial/limited basis to "help with brush control")
    - We bowhunt only, but landowner doesn't care.

I look forward to your input.

    Thanks,

    D
