Herbicide for Fence Row

My fences around the ranch are getting full of small trees especially Youpon. Is there a herbicide or mixture of herbicides that will kill these? I don’t want to clear my fence rows by hand - too labor intensive! And I’m sure it would just come back in a short time.

Any triclopyr herbicide should kill yaupon. Triclopyr is costly, so unless it’s all yaupon and small trees you could try spraying the fencerows with roundup first. Then clean up what’s left with the triclopyr.
