Marlin 30-30

I converted this ol girl to straight stock. Added XS ghost ring sights and leather butt cuff. I bought her brand new when I was 13 for $79. Not bad for a 40 year old rifle.

Beautiful gun! Did you also have to change the lever handle to match the straight stock?

I did the conversion myself. Lever I got off eBay. Worst part was the initial cut on the bandsaw. Once the first tooth hit there was no turning back. Glad I did it though

This one I will never sell. Going to pass it down to my youngest daughter when the time is right. Another reason I am looking to do another. One that has no sentimental value attached. I killed my first deer with this one when I lived in Oklahoma
