Friday, January 20, I will be taking Nan to Methodist Hospital in Houston to have heart surgery. She has been having problems with her heart rate. It will jump to 270 bpm and then bottom out. Heart rate is very unstable. Lowest BP that has been recorded was 40/28. They will go into the heart and map out the electrical of the heart and see where the short is. They will be able to repair the nerves that are acting up. (actually cut out the ones that have gone bad).
We have complete faith in the ability that God has given the doctor and his staff, but still asking for prayer.
She had this same problem 3 years ago and they did this procedure then. Amazing it is out patient, but doctor is saying this time it is a little more complicated because of the area of the heart he will be working in.
