It sure was a very nice sunset, just as always. I just can't find any nice backdrops in Baytown to get that pretty sunset in...LOL

I enjoy the place and posting the results...to hear compliments from you guys, but I need to find another way to capitalize over there. I think next time, I'll only take the zoom and see if I can silhouette more birds or something. Last night, while I was reviewing shots on the LCD of my camera, a Great Blue Heron eased through the sunset about 40 yards away. My daughter tried to get my attention to shoot it, but there was little I could do in time. Maybe that would be the best way to approach the next time I'm there.

What about backing up a bit and capturing more of that tree on the left in the photo in your next shots? Not sure what that tree looks like but it might give a different feel to have more of the tree along with those reeds out in the water. Just a thought.
