Hey green screen , I have a friend in the Dallas area who has a dog (Bella) she is trying to re-home. She has had the dog for a few years, she was a rescue. The dog is pretty standoffish. I’m a dog lover and get along with most dogs quickly…she wouldn’t come to me over the weekend I spent with her, about two or so years ago. She did well with my dog and three others. Since then she appears to have become more aggressive/defensive. My friend has spent some money trying to figure out a way to change her behavior. She has bit a dog at an apartment. And a couple days ago she was playing with their other little dog they have and apparently started getting after him. My friend tried to break them up and got bit on the hand. She is contemplating having her put down but would rather give her up to somebody that may be better at controlling her.
Myself and a Veterinarian friend both think Bella is primarily Black Mouth Cur. I think this dog needs a real job and a more dominant alpha. I am hoping someone might be willing to try using her as a hunting dog, maybe a hog dog. The dog has a sweet side and does well in a house.
