I actually just watched that video a little bit ago and thought, how crazy is it that I want to go poke one with a sharp pointed stick???

You ready? Hope you have the hunt of a life time. I will expect a campfire story when you get back. Arvin

Time has slowed to a crawl these last few days and doesn’t help getting new pictures from scouting trips on different places. I’m chomping at the bit to get over there!

On a side note, I keep getting asked what else I’m going after while I’m over there, and honestly I hadn’t really thought much about anything other than buffalo. Even my wife keeps asking why I’m go by to be gone so long if buffalo is all I’m really wanting to chase. Lammie had mentioned a month or so back about chasing bush pigs again which sparked my interest since they stood me up the last go around. Well, he’s got a couple different bait stations rolling and both getting hit by pigs. Hoping they keep hammering away!

Those bush pigs (and maybe warthogs) strike me as the inspiration for the alien hunter in the original movie "Predator." U-G-L-Y

Best to you Shiloh. IF them bush pigs give the opportunity be nice and let them wear an arrow.

Although it looks like a bomb went off, it was just me and my last minute procrastination packing. Got everything loaded and checked off the list, checked my weight and I was over 10 pounds.... so, the rearranging and unpacking began and finally got it all situated and below weight. I’ve over packed every time I’ve been to Africa before, so I figure I might as well do it again this go around.

Thankfully I had a lil helper to get me all sorted and packed up. Leave out tonight, layover a few hours in London, then onto South Africa from there.
