Clean miss... I guess that's better than a wounded deer. Papas eyes may not be suited for such low light shooting anymore.

Dang good morning. Wish dad had connected, but it happens. We will be back on stand this evening but we are splitting up and sending dad to the stand Gary connected from. Weston and I are gonna try to get back in the barn loft for a couple hours, but it may be asking a lot from a 2y.o.

Boy ball hogged the phone for the evening hunt to watch kiddo vids. We had a doe come in and bust us due to a little trouble staying still in pur chairs. Gonna give it another go in the morning.

Got it done this morning. First self filmed hunt. Success with the boy on stand. He wasn't even aware until I interrupted his movie to let him know I'd got one. He was into the blood trailing and even helped field dress her. It was a really fun weekend. Will share vid when I'm able

I bear witness that Travis is doing it right. His dad, Rick was telling some stories about him hunting and fishing as a 10 year old. Weston is 2 and probably won't remember any of it. But seeing him walking down the trail while we were tracking, clutching a piece of flagging tape I had given him in each hand, was a sight to behold.

Thank you again Gary! We had an awesome time. Weston gets so excited watching the video; I can tell he remembers it well for now at least. We made some serious memories this weekend. I can't thank you enough for the opportunity you've given me and my family to enjoy the Hilton.
