Default Remodel

Finally dragged our home kicking and screaming out of the late 80's early 90's

Before:

After:

Very pleased with the results. Managed to get it done in 3 weeks and only slightly exceeded our budget.

The difference is amazing, especially considering you didn't change out the cabinets.

That was a big cost factor that drove the rest of the decisions. I did knock off the yellowy top layer and used a dry brush technique to freshen them up. and of course new pulls made a big difference.

Wow Art...wall paint, flooring and countertops were the trick! Great look. Backsplash was icing.

Thanks. We decided the white needs to be toned down a bit. We will take that to more of a cream or even beige.

I was thinking that About the white. Looks a little stark next to the warmer cabinets and floors and such. Amazing job! We're going to do similar ourselves. What did you go with for countertops?

Lightly sanded to top layer that had yellowed and used a paint I had matched and brushed it on until the brush was dry and the grain was visible through it.
It had the effect of blending the color and freshening them up.
And new pulls of course.
