Well I couldn't do my last buck hunt with a rifle in my hand, just didn't feel right after chasing them all season with the bow. Climbed up on my ladder stand and had a yearling spike come in late. Maybe I had a shot, I just didn't look for one. I still got 2 more weeks to seal the deal on a deer and opted to be patient.
Well see what happens when I head back out next week

It's been a long season.

Final weekend and in stuck in Dallas. Didn't get it done.
Was able to get a 1 hour hunt in last week and took a do with my '06 so at least I got some venison.
May have to save up for an exotic or target the Javalina this spring.
It was a fun season and I learned alot. Next year I will take a shot at the first legal animal and not worry about age.
