We had that very thing happen at a lease we were on west of Uvalde....we would feed young deer right in camp and invariably when we were skinning a deer the youngsters would come and watch.

My son snapped this photo while I was skinning a deer. The nubby isn't related (to my knowledge) to the dead deer. The pic was too good not to share. This buck fawn hangs around my house and deer camp.
