    West Texas sunset

These are not great photographs, just a spectacularly colorful sunset. No filter was used, and they were taken with a simple Canon S5 IS. Taken out my window between Albany and Stamford last deer season....came across them today and thought I would show what a west Texas sunset looks like for those less fortunate to not have witnessed one.

Wow! Beautiful sky. I love sunsets and sunrises. God's best artwork. Always different and VERY fleeting. Great capture!

I don't know of anything more beautiful than a west texas sunset. On one of the ranches I hunt on there in Shackleford cnty I hunt one particular blind when I am there for the sole reason that it provides a full view of the sunset/sunrise over the whole Clear Fork river bottom. Not the nest blind on the place for hunting, but the most beautiful spot on the ranch early in the morning and late in the evening. Thanks for the pics!
