Looking incredible.

Mike are you able to do any spring turkey hunting? Also, are you allowed by state restriction to supplement feed deer during the worst of your offseason? I am sure with all the grain you have around you it might be non-productive, just curious?

Yes. I will get to turkey hunt. I am now legal to buy a hunting license. Our season opens next Monday. Not sure how much I will hunt with the work going on the house, but I will hunt some. Yes you can feed you just can hunt over it. I have been throwing some hand corn every evening. The deer are on it every night and early morning.

We have not had much time to look for sheds. I took a little walk this morning and found these two about 20 feet apart. I was all excited that I had found a matched pair. I carried them around a few minutes before I realized it was two different deer. Both sheds are off the same side. I think the two bucks hooked horns and knocked one off of each one. That means the other side of both are still out there somewhere. I need to get back out there and find those and some more. We also got the 2nd coat of polyurathane sealer on our stained concrete today. We can't walk on it for 24 to 72 hours. It won't fully cure for 7 days.

I will be glad when we can walk on them. We are going to to give them plenty of curing time.

We are going she'd hunting this weekend. I have found most of the sheds within sight of the house. We are going to cover some new ground this weekend.

Awesome build, looking good. We just got back from Des Moines, for a wedding. They had snow North of us 3-5 inches, crazy...loved the 30 degree weather though.

That was crazy last weekend. It was 85 degrees mid week. That was the latest snow since 1994 in Iowa. We didn't get any down here in SE Iowa. Just rain. It got down in the 30s Saturday night.

Thanks Toby. We are having the first ever ASA qualifier in Iowa this weekend. There are some beautiful archery clubs up here but there has never been an ASA event in Iowa.

Yep Billy. We are back at it. First shoot is this weekend. First ever ASA event in Iowa. It only makes sense to have ASA in Iowa. ASA's title sponsor company is based in Iowa. I was there today picking up targets.

Cabinets were installed today !!!

Rustic Cherry grown right here in Iowa and hand built by an Amish cabinet maker. They will be measured for granite countertops next week.

Nice, that is coming along beautiful. What kind of back splash you doing ?

Seen some nice Amish furniture when we were up that way, just didn't have my truck, and of course it wouldn't fit in wife's car.

We are doing something a little different for the backsplash. We are going to use the same barn wood that we have in the living room. The Rooster/Farmall tractor picture will be installed on the barn wood behind the stove and under the vent hood.

We are moved in for the most part. We are still waiting on the granite countertops. We got our washer and dryer today. We are now sleeping in the house. It was almost 90 degrees here today. We are running the air for the first time this evening.
