Default Smoking a piglet!!!! Mesicannnnn style

Going to be updating with pics as I do it... so please be patient !!
sooooo So far Ive got piglet in smoker and seasoned piglet ( set to 375F ). I want to give piglet some color. Once I get the color I want I will be wrapping in foil with veggies . Stay tuned!

While I got pig on smoker I got all veggies prepped and ready. Light seasoned with creole... see attached pics!!

Does positioning him that way have a purpose opposed to lying on its side? I have wanted to do his but never bit off on doing one.

IMO i want all sides browned the same ( color wise) that is why i stood him up like that... later on when i wrap with foil you will see another reason why i positioned him like this...

1 hour and 45 mins in... gonna go another 30-45 mins then going to wrap...
I usually never add butter, but since this one is small Im going to add some butter when I add veggies!
Again Ill post pics once I do that.

Looks good. I brought home a pig one time and the entire thing fit in a crock pot. My wife asked if it was a squirrel. :-)

Fill veggies into rib cavity and surrounding area ( kinda went veggie crazy ) and wrap in foil!! Good color on the !!
