Duracoat Can Aerosol

Has anyone used Duracoat aerosol spray ? If so was it easy to use, we're you pleased with the finished project? I picked up a very reasonably priced Remington 1100. But the finish is trashed. I'm looking for a cheap easy finish to make it look a little better.

Cold bluing an 1100 is easy and cheap. I've done a couple home dura coat jobs but neither has held up well...prep and degrease is critical

I agree on cold bluing. I used oxphoblue from brownells and it worked great. I think I did 3 coats. I can't remember though. Also agree on prep and decrease. Take your time and do it right.
