Here's a new one for you guys to talk about. I have a Colt 6940LE and I want an SBR. Question: Do I send the 6940 upper in to have it cut down to 10.5" or do I buy a new upper? Which one will be cheaper?

Buy a new barrel and gas tube. You can reuse the existing gas block if it is the same diameter as the new barrel and you like the integrated front sight post. Before that, you have to have your approved forms to assemble it as a SBR.Comment

What length has system is on the colt? If it's carbine you only need a new barrel. Our you can have that barrel cut down and rethreaded for around $65.Comment
