Got this from the gunsmith today. Going to test fire to,or row and she is ready to go! I cant wait. Now time to get a scope ordered.

Blueprinted rem 700 stainless action
20" threaded shilen 1:8 twist barrel
Bedded in a McMillan HTG stock
Timney 512 at just under 2lbs

I really want the vx5HD 3-15x56 but I am just not a fan of the firedot duplex reticle and not really any other options even from the custom shop.

Just personal preference. Want a 50mm obj when spending that much but I know that my eyes I can probably never tell the difference.

I hear ya. Well if you go with the 3i, here are some options with great pricing.

I have shot the vx5HD and now own 3 LRP’s with a 4th in order. I think you will be happy.

Also check www.bigsupplyshop.com as they are same as Opticsagent but often times prices can be different between the sites. I got an OpticsAgent receipt in BigSupplyShop order. I've purchased 3 VX-5's HD and 2 VX-6HD's and no problems. I love the firedot duplex.
