Haven't hunted LOP in a loooooooooooooong time. Grew up in Longview.
spent a lot of time hinting and fishing LOP area. Left in 1974and haven't been back.

Man, I havent thought of that place in awhile!! GW kick me and two buddies off the "lake" back in 93. We were a little young to be drinking and having waaaay to much fun in a rental john boat.
Good times!!! Now they would throw you under the jail for those kinds of antics!!

how high is the water on the north end off 259?

Lakes 8.5' high. Sounds like fishing is tough. I gotta get out there before too long and look around for some crappie.
