Really wanted to see if I could actually shoot through the penny. Finally, hit it twice on about arrows 17 and 20. Bag target seems too soft/bouncy to support a shoot-through of the penny.

I've shot a lot of pennies with an 80 # compound and I've never shot through one unless it was on a solid background like plywood

Good shooting guys. Still lots of light left to get this one done.
I didn't bother measuring. Ellis has me beat.
Probably just shy of 3" with arrow #1.
Hit the penny with shot #3, and shot #5.
Did my penny have a thin spot, or is my recurve a monster?

Dang Rick. I guess those 20lbs more than mine makes a heck of a difference in penetration.

68# at my 29.5" draw
640 grain arrow averaging 208 fps
Packs a wallop.
