Condolences

Dad lived a good long Christian life. This morning he passed on and is with my mother again. Curtis Oscar Meier was a WWII veteran and served in the U.S. Navy on board the U.S.S. Pine island. Pop was a hard working and loving father. Not much on the outdoors, baseball was his passion. He played semi-pro back in the 1950's and coached little league for about 20 years. Love ya Pop! Give mom a hug and kiss for me. He was 91 years old.

Sounds like your father was one truly remarkable man. Giving back and being an influence in other people's lives. Coaching is a gift. You were blessed to have such a solid role model for a father and to have someone of that caliber in your life. We are losing so many of such a incredible generation so quickly. I am sure your mother is glad to have him back by her side. I am very sorry for your loss.
