Well, It's hot and dry here in Colorado. I figured my best bet was to hang with the wallow. Had bears, deer and elk coming in. The bull came in 3 evenings in a row with cows. Him laying in the wallow at 26 yards bugling is pretty awesome. I left my video camera at home, and trying to video on my phone was not going well when trying to get a shot. The second night, getting dark, I missed about a foot in front of him. Guess I picked my head up to watch the shot. They weren't really spooked, and came back a little earlier the next evening. I had put some cow urine out to distract him before he went to the wallow. Worked perfectly. I thought I had shot too far forward, but at the shot, he spun back toward me. He was on the ground in under 10 seconds, maybe 60 yards. Ok Bisch, post pics!! Thanks guys.
