They set up under the pavilions last year so they could be close to the electric outlets under there. Ana electric griddle ain't no good without electricity.

Team Bean will more than likely be on GJ's trailer pit. So mixed in with Team Rib.

But I don't think it is a good idea to put Ribs by Junior Anglers.

And I would like to see the team in more of a rectangular set up instead of stacking them back to back (make sense?). I think some teams would get lost if we stack them.

We have the whole lot to use...we will not be allowing cars in...except Team Daycare and the TBH FJ.
And trash??? and smokers right Gotta have smokers

So Kevin. Is this corner where you put us, where your saying the trash trailer was put last year?

As I have not been to this park yet I would guess a trailer full of trash is not exactly what you want up front when everyone is coming and around the pavilion.

If everyone else is good with that then I am. Yall did this venue last year, I did not..

I don't recall the trailer being in that location....was it possibly on the other side of the pavilion? Seems like I remember in the POURING rain carrying some trash over there as the last few of us were there cleaning up.

True the pic above is only utilizing 1/2 the space.
Team Kid Food can be where ever ya want we are to have tables and the generator, but, it went over well in the Pavillion.
There will be 4 banners layed out in the pavillion or near Team Name Tag,(they will take 4 picnic tables) for all to sign as well.

That is a good option too Bruce. I'm flexible where we set up.

Oh and Team Gator and Gumbo are one in the same. Formerly known as Boo-Dan

True, Joey, but the area I have outlined is 200' x 130'.
The old park was 103' x 60'.

Even with the area shown, we're covering more than twice what we used at Austin's Colony Park.

How about using the left side and leaving the right for parking for set-up folks bringing in cookers and tents and supplies?

Kevin, does that take into account all the teams that ended up in the grass?

Nope, I'm plenty redneck, I was just wondering how big the generator was that had a muffler big enough to cook the number of sammiches that team did last year with the electric griddle they had.

That and makin' conversation after not realizing they would have a generator to use this year.

I think that would stretch it out pretty far. We can always leave an open slot, throught the middle of the parking lot, so team supplies can be trucked through.

We can always stick a few more teams huddled together in the middle if we run out of space on the outskirts of the lot.

The trash trailer was on the other side of the pavilion so it was out of everyone's way. You don't want it where it is in pic because that is first thing everyone will see when walking up

What if we put the trash trailer on the very south side of the parking lot where the two trucks are in this photo. That way its close enough to the teams to throw trash in and Joseph can pull it right down the middle to drop it and pick it up. Straight in and out.

You talking about the driveway on the back side. That would work too. Just further for everyone to haul trash.

Like I said I havent been to the park yet, So dont know how spread out everything was. How much space was left in the parking lot

That is probably a great idea, close enough to get to yet far enough to be out of sight.

With this "outskirts" arrangement, that should be no problem.

I remember that there were a lot of trucks parked, in the same lot, last year.
We should just make an effort (those of us that get there early) to keep people from parking in there.

Please be mindful of those that can't walk great distances. It was nice to be able to help one of our team members to their vehicle close by last year.

I would hope that we would be self policing and if you don't need a close space you'd park in the general parking lot.

If I see someone parking in the close spots that doesn't need to be there, I'll slap a knot on their head and tell them to MOVE IT!
